Training and Experience
Robert "Bob" Bodzioch is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. He earned his Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology from New York University, in 1995. Bob has worked in the counseling field for over 20 years.
Bob's experience includes working with teenagers and adults providing individual, family, couples and group therapy. Bob works together with his clients; focusing on solutions for people to move forward in life. Bob has worked in settings to include therapeutic group home, psychiatric hospital, crisis center and residential.
Bob was part of a national research project (Clinical Trials Network) in Brief Strategic family therapy with the University Of Miami Center for Family Studies in FL. He has also earned achievements in Motivational Enhancement Therapy and Brief Strategic Family Therapy and is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), to treat sexually and physically abused clients. In addition, Bob has conducted crisis intervention training for The Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, in Miami, FL.; was a part of the Ethics Committee for Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and was a guest speaker for Saint Thomas University, Miami, FL (Master's Counseling Program).
