Training and Experience
Angelie is eligible as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). She is also an eligible Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in the state of Georgia. She has earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health from Mercer University. Angelie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Saint Leo University. She is a member of the Licensed Professional Counselors of Georgia (LPCA) and the Association for Play Therapy (APT).
Angelie’s experience includes working with individuals, groups, couples, and families. She has also worked as a mental health clinician providing Wrap-around in-home services to improve outcomes and the overall safety of children and families.
Approach
Angelie believes in working with clients to identify and overcome difficulties in order to lead more fulfilling lives. She uses various modes of therapy to assist each client including Client Centered, Cognitive Behavioral and Play Therapy. She works with each client in an open, non-judgmental, practical, and trusting environment. Angelie believes that through patience and support that Change is Possible, Growth is Possible, and Success is Possible.
