Amy E. Gilbert is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Psychology from Sonoma State University in California and has earned a Master of Arts in Psychology from the
University of West Georgia.
Amy’s experience includes working with children, adolescents, couples and families providing individual, couples and family therapy.
She has worked in various settings including a hospital, agency, and in-home.
Treatment Approach
Amy focuses on encouraging and supporting her clients toward positive change and growth by building a positive therapeutic
relationship between herself and the client. Amy utilizes various modes of therapy including Cognitive Behavioral, Humanistic,
Existential and Adlerian approaches to assist her clients on their journey toward reaching their full potential.
